St. Stephans Square

$100.00$425.00

This painting captures St. Stephen’s Square (Stephansplatz) in the heart of Vienna, Austria. Named after the towering Stephansdom Cathedral—one of the tallest churches in the world—the square sits at the geographic center of the city. Once divided by a row of houses, the area now blends with nearby Stock-im-Eisen-Platz, forming a bustling hub surrounded by historic architecture and elegant shopping streets.

As a former tour director, I had the privilege of guiding groups through Vienna, and this scene was inspired by those experiences. I was especially drawn to the timeless charm of the old-world buildings, the textured cobblestone paths, and the vibrant life of people moving through the square.
